  1. I’m a geek, seriously.
  2. Friends call me Cags and Lala.
  3. Okay, let me clarify geek. Dr. Who rules, I enjoy building computers with my son, think coding is exciting and we play chess in our home.
  4. I’m a mom of three great kids, believe parenting is the most rewarding and toughest job on this planet.
  5. I really prefer teenage over toddler years.
  6. Parenting kids in their 20’s has been, well, interesting… still stumbling and figuring out this stage.
  7. My daughter amazes me every day.
  8. Had a 4 door Honda Odyssey once, Subies stole this girl’s heart.
  9. I’ve learned more about the intricacies of cars from my older son than I ever thought possible. He’s an encyclopedia of car facts, no joke. AND a Subie convert too.
  10. Have a slight addiction to horror films, give this credit to my Dad who started me young on Steven King.
  11. Yep, TWD, go Zombies!
  12. What would you bring on a deserted Island? Kids pics, my Diana Gabaldon books, poetry journal, and sushi! Oh… sunscreen
  13. Reading? A gazillion books, long list. Novels, poems, blogs, articles, research…. never stop learning.
  14. I’m Italian, Irish and Polish. A melting pot of immigrants arriving in the early 1920’s creating the backbone of American Industry. Right on.
  15. Explored the woods all day as a kid with my friends without fear, sounds like a popular TV show and NOT reality anymore.
  16. Discrimination. Yes, it’s real. Woman + Age.
  17. My mom likes to tell me every so often I’m standing on my “soapbox”, exactly what does this mean?
  18. I believe in speaking up for what you believe in. ehem.
  19. I’m an advocate of philanthropy.

  21. I believe kindness can change our world.
  22. Grew up in PA and shoveled large amounts of horse poop growing up. Builds character.
  23. I love animals. Sometimes it’s a little easier to be around animals than humans.
  24. Elephants and Gorillas have a special place in my heart.
  25. We have 2 adopted dogs, 5 guinea pigs (she just had babies) and would live on a farm if possible.
  26. Our Shepherd is a K9 rescue service pup, he’s awesome.
  27. Our Husky has canine epilepsy, this is hard, messy and requires a HUGE amount of love. Our family has grown from her.
  28. I was in the American Youth Symphony as a teenager, travelling across Europe, hard work pays off.
  29. The Berlin Wall was a learning experience.
  30. My favorite place/s on our planet so far; Highlands, Scotland and Ljubljana, Slovenia.
  31. I adore church bells, they bring tears.
  32. Played the clarinet for 8 years. Overbite.
  33. I learned to play the piano when I was 6 years old, teaching my youngest to play on Sundays. Pay it forward.
  34. Majored in History. Culture, people, stories, life, asking questions… right up my alley.
  35. Didn’t get my masters, life shifts in unexpected ways.
  36. Fear can cripple the bravest soul.
  37. I don’t need much, learned this in 2010.
  38. Threw cable in the garbage 9 years ago, watched shows on our computer – way ahead of the game! Should have cashed in on that idea, hmmm.
  39. I’m considering giving up my car to live a more sustainable life for our planet. AND reality check, get rid of overhead. Go Uber, Lyft and public transportation!
  40. Thrifting is like the ultimate thrill, seriously.
  41. Did you know that Welfare, Medicaid and Fuel/Electric assistance is supported by our tax dollars? AND is a good resource for divorced, unemployed and those over 50.
  42. Proud supporter of therapy.
  43. I learned the hard way that trust is earned, not freely given.
  44. Hope has brought me out of the darkest of times, PTSD is real people.
  45. My family is my rock, so is God.
  46. I believe in Karma and still have work to do.
  47. One step at a time is a great motto.

  49. Writing is a passion. Art, music, gardening, okay there are several…
  50. Faces tell a story, young and old which is why I draw them.
  51. I wake up to music, usually a song, hanging around in my head, yesterday it was Janice.
  52. We used to live in Northern New Hampshire, ski country.
  53. My kids started skiing at a young age in a community funded program, we like to be outside.
  54. I attempted snowboarding, hahahahahaha. Check it off the list.
  55. Outside = therapy
  56. Kayaking = peace
  57. Hiking = nurture my inner soul
  58. My youngest son and I hike the NH 4,000 footers, we have a hiking bucket list.
  59. I believe people are unique, everyone has a story, that patience is a learned skill over time, listening is required and in giving back more than what you are given.
  60. Please, kids of all ages, devices are tools to be used carefully, they are not your friends. Lecture over.
  61. I stopped using Facebook personally in 2018, credibility issues. C’mon, MZ.
  62. Life doesn’t end at 45 or 50, still have half a life to go. We’re having kids, some of us have toddlers running around. Well, I don’t but my sister does. Soapbox 😉
  63. 63 is our lucky number.
